Description

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has tremendously impacted the world over the last two years. It will continue to profoundly affect the field of education and the careers of school psychologists for the foreseeable future. This session will help school psychologists learn more about Artificial Intelligence tools and how they may implement them in their practice. It will include a basic overview of the technology, an overview of relevant and evolving ethical considerations for AI's use, and practical overviews of specific tools and potential applications. Questions and discussions from the attendees will be encouraged. While the conversation will focus on the use of AI by practicing school psychologists, some discussion of the broader impacts on the education system will be discussed as well. Presented by Josh Johnson (2025) NCSP: Ethical practice and/or the legal regulation of school psychology
