With our new website, we are also updating our membership process. Membership will now be active for 1 year from your registration date rather than running January 1-December 31.
What does this mean for current members?
Current members’ registration date will be January 1st and your membership will run through the end of the year.
What does this mean for new members?
New members membership will be active 1 year from their registration date. For example, if someone registered on July 1st, their membership would go through June 30th of the next year.
Now that membership renewal will be different for everyone, how will I remember to renew?
You’ll be sent a reminder email 14 days before your membership is set to expire, and an invoice on the due date. We understand in our busy world you may still forget to renew, so you’ll be sent another reminder email 30 days past your renewal date. Additionally, any time you login to your online account, a message will appear in the lower-right corner of the screen reminding you if it’s time to renew.
What if I forget to renew my membership?
If your renew within 60 days past your renewal date, you’ll continue to be an active member with the same renewal date. If you renew after 60 days past your renewal date, your membership will have lapsed. This means if you want to reactivate your membership your renewal date will change to the date you paid to reactivate your membership. In the meantime, however, you will not be receiving the benefits of membership. So watch for those email reminders and renew right away when you receive the first one!
