The Minnesota Psychological Association is offering training called "Adapting to the ICD-10 and the DSM-5" on Friday, November 13th at Metropolitan State University.
About the Program:
This session qualifies for 3.0 continuing education credits.
As of October 2015, the use of the ICD-10 is mandated for diagnostic coding. At the same time many mental health professionals are still adapting to recent changes in the DSM. This workshop will cover the information needed for integrating both diagnostic systems. Although there is alignment in many areas, it is not a simple cross-walk between the DSM-5 and the ICD-10. Clinical examples will illustrate areas of conflict.
