Request for MN Examples of NASP Practice Model in Action
Minnesota School Psychologists Association
MSPA would like to gather high quality examples of school psychology practices that adhere to the 2010 NASP Model of Practice. Each example gathered should address one of the domains of practice in the NASP Model. These examples will be posted on the MSPA website and on a website hosted by the MN Department of Education for related services personnel.
We are requesting proposals from individuals who are interested in writing up one more examples of how your school or district is implementing at least one domain from the NASP Practice Model. Examples should include the following:
o 2 pages of text as narrative summary of the practice that addresses:
- Process of adopting practice
- If possible, please address the following:
o Training issues
o Funding issues
o Sustainability issues
- Barriers & Facilitators to practice
o At least one picture to add some visual quality
o Relevant products or documents used in this practice as attachments or via embedded links
o Links to other relevant resources
o Data that support the practice (if possible)
o APA style citations for any references included
o Note: Content must be developed in accordance with accessibility requirements as specified by the Minnesota Department of Education. More information about these requirements will be provided when a contract is awarded.
Proposals for examples should be no longer than one page and described the practices in your district that you would like to highlight as well as labeling which of the 10 domains of practice you believe that this example addresses.
Proposals will be reviewed by the MSPA Executive Board. Those selected to submit examples will be contacted by MSPA and offered a contract of $100 per example produced, payable upon completion of the contract.
